From these examples it is clear that artists, when performing live, are presented to look 'attractive' to the audience, perhaps this could link to the idea that much of the pop music genre audience are of a younger fanbase, and therefore the artists could sell more from looking more attractive to the public; in a way, specifically female artists as shown in these examples, could be presented to look more 'sexual'.
